I have been VERY slow to jump onto the Podcasting train. Why? I've been working on so many other personal projects and I just didn't feel like I have a lot to say that people want to hear. Sure, I've been writing newsletters for the past 19 years. Sure, I've been doing the "GregReportingLive" videos since 2004. But I just haven't gotten into the podcastosphere.
Today, for the first time, I heard the Cult of Pedagogy Podcast hosted by Jennifer Gonzalez. About the same age as me, Jennifer is cut from similar cloth that I am. Mine is just a little more international. Love to meet her some day.
Anyway, this all fits. Once I finish my book, I will podcast and host some talks for international teacher-wannabes. Yep, Joe Kiedinger told me to do this [podcast and other entreprenurial stuff] last summer. Now I have the inspiration. Not only is the Cult of Pedagogy born from a love of teaching, it also hits my technonerd, TeAchnology brand of lifestyle.
